Get In The Swimming Pool With Good Trunks

People love to swim but they don’t like to buy swimwear. It can be a real chore, especially if you don’t have a fabulous body. You can overcome this problem if you know something about how to pick out the best swimwear for yourself. This is a real struggle for plus-sized women as there are not many swimwear options from them. However, with one piece swimwear by Jets, plus-sized women also get to choose from a wide range of swimwear that are trendy and comfortable.

You might do best by picking out the kind of trunks you prefer. One type is known as board shorts. These are medium length swim trunks that come in a variety of colors. The board short actually flows to the knee. Another type of trunk is the bikini. This is a popular sort for people who like to get tan. It’s small and versatile. A lot of people feel a bikini makes them a better swimmer.

Another thing you need to think about is the material for your trunks. Choose one that best fits your needs. Nylon or polyester gives you a swimsuit that dries quickly. You may prefer that if you plan to use your trunks for shorts. Also, nylon and polyester won’t be as likely to fade.

Lately, there has been a trend to buy suits that rival the look of the 50’s swimwear. These are called monokinis or tankinis. You want to choose a cut that flatters your figure and shows off your assets. You might want to pick a style that elongates your body if you are short. Or you might want to pick a style that will help reveal parts of your body you don’t want to show off. Heavy hips and thighs can be hidden by skirts or fancy shorts.

Today you can buy swimwear that flattens your belly. Designers have developed special panels that can do this for you. They like to use lycra support panels. These devices will make a tremendous difference in your silhouette. You can either minimize or maximize your figure.

Women with a small bust can go for a style that has a lot of detailing around the bust. This might mean an oversized ruffle or a large bowl. These adornments won’t make you look ridiculous if the suit if made properly. Small busted women might also want to go for a small print or a triangle-top bikini.

A good trick is to look through magazines or catalogs to get a general idea of what styles appeal to you, and what you think will look good on you. You might want to mark the pages or the individual pictures and look at them again later, to see if you still feel the same about them. You might even want to take the pictures along to the store when you shop for your swimwear.

The most important thing is to put the right amount of time into looking for a new pair of trunks or swimsuits. You don’t want to rush this. If you are willing to spend some time in the fitting room, you will find the right product for you. Remember the swimsuit or trunks have to love your figure as much as you do.

Why Your Hair Color Keeps Turning Brassy

Dying your hair can turn into an addiction and vicious cycle real fast. I was a typical scenario: I wanted to dye my hair a nice rich brown for fall, and when I walked out of the salon, it looked great. Following all my hair dresser’s color tips, I bought expensive color-preserving shampoo, I didn’t wash my hair right away after dying it, yet it was orange about four or five months later. I go back into the salon, re-dye it, except this time it only lasts three months! I tried to convince myself the orange was maybe a nice strawberry blonde look, but who was I kidding?!

Has this ever happened to you? It’s very frustrating and it’s difficult to break out of the cycle without further damaging your hair. Here’s why it happens:

My hair dresser told me that some people have more difficulty holding hair color than others. Typically, those people have damaged, porous hair. You’ll know if you’re one of “those people” if you go into a salon, have your hair dyed brown, and whoa…it’s almost black. This is because your damaged hair has lost its keratin seal and the porous layer underneath quickly absorbs the color. In fact, it absorbs the color so well it tends to over-saturate it. This was the case for me. Don’t panic yet if this happens to you because over the course of the next week or so, your black hair will slowly begin fading to that rich chocolate brown you wanted. This is great, but don’t rest easy yet. A few months pass by and your hair keeps fading and fading into a brassy copper tone. If only there was a pause button! Just as quickly as your porous hair absorbs dye, it also loses it because the color has nothing to hold on to and quickly leeches and washes from your holy tresses.

If you keep going back to the salon and have your hair re-dyed or glazed over to add some ash tones to counteract the copper, you’ve entered a viscous cycle that needs to stop. It’s no surprise that dying your hair damages it, and the more you dye it, the more porous it becomes. The more porous it becomes, the shorter it holds your desired color. And then you go back to have it dyed again.

Can you fix it or prevent it from happening? Your stylist may recommend some special shampoos and products to prolong your color, racking up your bill even higher with every visit. I have an easy and free way to solve your hair-dye woes. You may not want to hear this, but the only surefire solution to fixing your damaged and over-processed hair from constantly changing and fading is to stop dying it. It’s a gusty move to make, but letting your virgin, healthy, and non-porous hair grow back in is the best route to go. In a few years (or depending on how long your hair takes to regrow) you can start on a clean slate if you wish and dye your hair again. You’ll find that the color will hold much longer, perhaps even years to the point that you no longer have to go to the top laser hair removal clinic in Brampton.

It’s been two years since I’ve dyed, flat ironed, or blow dried my hair. I cut as much coppery hair off as I could tolerate (chin-length). Now my natural dark ash blonde color has finally come back in and only my ends remain discolored. My hair is now half-way down my back and healthier than ever and I certainly don’t plan on dying my hair for a very long time. It’s too much work!

This is my not-so-quick, but easy, affordable, and (most importantly) guaranteed way to fix your color-fading catastrophe.

Choosing The Right Instrument For Your Hearing Loss: Hearing Aids Comparisons

When shopping for hearing aids, comparisons should be made with regard to a few important points of interest. For example, when you read the hearing hero reviews, you would come to know about many features of the device.

First, you should know that analog hearing aids are largely being eliminated in favor of digital hearing aids. The reason for this is that digital models are capable of so much more with regard to sound reproduction, and are extremely versatile in order to work best for each person’s unique hearing loss.

Next, you need to know about the types of hearing aids that are available. The list below outlines the 4 main types of hearing aids with pros and cons listed as well. The main difference will be in cost and in how discreet you want to be about your hearing loss.

  1. Behind the ear models (BTE) fit behind your ear in much the same way as glasses do. These are very easy to spot from across a room, but are on the cheaper side, which may be what you’re looking for. People have had issues when using BTE’s and the telephone, as the microphone is mounted on the outside of the ear canal.
  1. In the ear (ITE) hearing aids are a little bit more discreet, without being much more expensive. These are essentially mounted in a mold of your ear and take up the outer portion of your ear. Some find these to be uncomfortable, while others are quite happy with them. Your Audiologist can give you more information and use a test model to give you an idea of what these will be like.
  1. In the ear canal (ITC) hearing aids are a bit smaller and go partially into the ear canal. These are less visible than the previous two types in these hearing aids comparisons, but are not the most difficult to detect. They are a step up in price, but you should consider all the options including this and our last type of hearing aid.
  1. Completely in the ear canal (CIC) models are very small and the most difficult to detect. These are more expensive and lack external controls (they must be adjusted via computer by your Audiologist), but if you’re self conscious about your hearing loss, these are worth looking into. You need to be aware that due to their very small size, they will require more frequent cleaning and maintenance. Batteries must also be changed more frequently due to the necessity of their small size.

Finally, you want to make sure that your hearing aid company is one of the top three listed below:

Seimen’s  Starkey Phonak

All three of these hearing aid companies provide state of the art assistive devices and have a well deserved reputation for customer service. Whatever device you ultimately choose, make sure you will be given a 30-60 day trial period so you can be sure the hearing aid suits your needs and lifestyle. A 1-2 year warranty is also a must, as repairs are generally not covered by insurance. I hope this article helped you to understand the factors you must consider when making hearing aids comparisons.

Hearing aids comparisons can help you to not only choose the right type, but also the right model. You can find out more about your options on my discount hearing aids information site. My name is Jim McClinsey and writing helpful articles is my passion!

Not Knowing How To Swim – Check The Key Takeaways!!!

These are the true facts of a young boy age ten or possibly eleven living in Jacksonville Florida who did not know how to swim. Not far from the apartment complex where he lived the lower section of the Ribault river runs and spanning it was a very old draw bridge that connects a street called Moncrief Road. As long as anyone can remember this drawbridge has not been in use other than for automobile traffic running along it and curious children playing inside of it along with the occasional fisherman. The waters of the river are dark and foreboding and on at least two occasions this young boy accompanied by his friends were witnesses of a lifeless child being pulled from its depths, nevertheless this did not keep them from exploring its shores and tossing in nets to catch crabs or try their hands at building floatable rafts.

On one particular day the young boy is on the walkway section of this drawbridge alone daydreaming as he looks out over the river. At some point he decided to climb down inside of the bridge as sometimes he and a friend or two would do. It is all so true that you never really know who is watching you and as the young boy opened the grating and descended down the metal ladder he saw no one walking in either direction along the street. Metal and concrete making a structure, dark murky water adrift with ghosts from down under retelling past events of those who did not know how to swim and a child dreams for adventure and the need for a sense of belonging in a household where he defiantly feels unwanted.

For some minutes or more the young boy is in these confines alone and then unannounced company and an unexpected guest descends the metal ladder and confronts him. At this point the young boy feels no cause for concern as they begin to chat casually but then the small talk rapidly collapses as the older man ask the young boy if he has ever had sex with a man. The metal ladder is blocked by the older man with the steel and concrete of the drawbridge being a captive enclosure and the dark murky water of the river teleporting visions in a child’s mind of lifeless young bodies being pulled from its watery grips.

A young mind is blank of defensive actions to prudently take as the older man begins to insist upon a sexual engagement vowing emphatically to toss the young boy into the scary water if he does not capitulate to his demands. The fear of the water for a child who does not know how to swim is much stronger than the fear of the vile man and knowing this to be the case the older man pushes the young boy to his knees and unzips his pants. A sea of moving red is where pubic hairs should be which later on the young boy will find out to be body crabs infesting the older man, and likewise there is a massive stench. The older man inserts his depraved penis into the young boys bewildered mouth and within a short while the older man begins to urinate with a triumphant smirk gleaming across his sadistic face.

The young boy is now told to stand to his feet even as still the older man is vowing to toss him into the murky waters. Turning around and now lowering his pants the older man instructs the young boy to insert his penis into his child-molesting anus. All the adults take swimming lessons from the reputed classes. There should be checking of the reviews to become a champ in the swimming through the coaching classes.

Actions without hardness. Fear of dark waters for a child who does not know how to swim and the joy of conquest of a satisfied confronter who now redoes his pants and starts back up the metal ladder. Now on the street the older man tells the young boy that he is going to have a baby because of the actions that they have just performed and as such that he will be back in contact with him and with this said the older man walks from the bridge and down the street.

Walking from the drawbridge and onto solid ground traveling only a few feet away from it the young boy cowers over and vomits and after doing this he heads back home carrying heavily in his young mind yet another burning assault on his already very damaged and crippled self-esteem. In later years the young boy will wish that he had fought the older man even to the extent of he being tossed into the murky river water but alas this is hindsight that does not change a single moment in the past of a child’s plight.

Instead, we will only go through the facts to keep you informed. First and foremost, let us go straight directly to the question of what happens if the foam gets wet. Will it still dry properly? Technically speaking, open cell spray insulation which is a type of spray foam will definitely get dry totally after getting wet. But if the amount of water is tremendous, it may affect the shape of the spray foam but the dryness will still occur. Consequently, once it dry out, it will also fill in the imperfection of the shape. If a spray foam is made from polyurethane, it will still dry effectively without affecting its original shape after getting wet. This is because this type of spray foam insulation is made with water resistant materials. On the other hand, single component foam is likely to change its form or shape after getting wet. But it will still dry.

But what about surfaces that are wet? Does spray foam insulation have the ability to penetrate surfaces that get wet? Will its ability to trap water cause decay or mold? In warm climates, one of the main concerns of customers is the vapor and humidity. They consider such concerns as potential water problems. But in reality, the closed cell composition of spray foam insulation allows the material to control the flow of, moisture vapor because it divides the outside and inside temperatures. So even if the wood is when, when spray foam insulation is applied, the lumber will still dry more slowly. Travelling Young

I remember my very first Caribbean cruise like it was yesterday. In fact it was about 18 years ago.

That first one however was a real eye-opener for me. I was about 40 at the time and it was early in the first day of the cruise that I realized that I was one of the youngest passengers on the ship. Actually, during that entire trip I only saw about five people that appeared to be younger then I was.

I remember someone telling me before I left on that first cruise that most passengers on cruise ships were “newly wed or nearly dead.” Of course I laughed it off, but soon came to realize that he was pretty well right on. Except for the newly wed part. On this particular trip I didn’t run across any of those.

There were about 1300 passengers on the ship and I’m sure about 100 of them were in wheelchairs. Two people died during that 10 day cruise.

Of old age.

I know that’s true because I saw them take the bodies away by ambulance at two different ports. Later I found out what had happened. One stroke and one heart attack.

Its safe to say that most of the people on the ship were retired. They had probably worked most of their lives in order to enjoy going on cruises and other holidays once the working years were over. Many of the ones I talked to were on their first cruises. Some were on their very first real vacation.

To me there is something really wrong with that picture. Of Course people who are retired deserve great holidays. They’ve worked hard and saved their money for that reason. But to me it seems that leaving the fun times until you retire is not necessarily the best thing to do. You are gambling that your health will still be good when its time to put up your feet.

My approach is quite a bit different. It was actually that very trip that convinced me that I was not going to wait until retirement to travel and take in the world. Since then I’ve been on 11 more cruises. By the way, I found out later that the cruise line my agent chose for me that first time catered to the over 50’s. Since then I have found the cruise line of choice for the younger partying crowd.

I’ve also been to 4 Club Meds, Vegas 6 times, Hawaii twice, and to Switzerland and Cuba. I still work full time and probably will work until I’m 65. My theory is to do all my holidaying now while I’m in excellent physical condition. Its much more fun to arrive at a Caribbean island, put on your backpack and go exploring on foot then it is to have someone push you around in a wheelchair.

Of course all this is expensive and I’m not able to save too much for retirement. I’m prepared to accept that however. If I can’t afford to travel when I retire, then that’s fine. I’ll do the things that don’t cost much. I’ll go for long walks along the river, write a book, learn how to fly fish or volunteer somewhere.

Life is extremely unpredictable and I have no desire to work for 50 years and gamble that I will still be alive or in good enough health to take advantage of all the spare time that retiring will leave me with.

Traveling had become a hobby to me at one point and nothing gives more pleasure than a trip down the countryside or to the nearest hill station to make you feel good. I still want to run atop the hill or mountain as I am young at heart, unfortunately my health does not keep up with me so I want to have limbs that are functioning till my last breath and not dependent on anyone. I call over friends for company and we have a list of the best AARP senior tour travels in 2020, though of course it won’t be as gala as the previous ones as age won’t permit any of us.

How To De-Brand Or Re-Brand A Sony-Ericsson C905/C905a

This tutorial will walk you through the process of flashing a C905/C905a phone.

Although flashing a phone that you own is legal, there are some down sides and potential perils:

* By flashing your phone, you may void your warranty, so proceed at your own risk.

* By flashing your phone, you will be erasing pretty much everything you have stored, including, potentially, all of your stored contacts. You MUST create a backup or this data will be permanently lost. It is advisable to use the best wifi booster so you can back up your data quickly.

* Because you’ll be messing around with your phone’s software, failure to follow these instructions exactly could permanently damage your phone. Again, proceed at your own risk, and only if you have read through these instructions completely and know that you have enough tech savvy to follow them correctly.

1) Using your favorite search engine, find and download the latest versions of the following programs:

a) A2Uploader (comes bundled with Gordon’s Gate Drivers; install them, then reboot your PC)

b) A2 CDA File Generator (Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0; install that first, if you don’t have it)

c) Sony-Ericsson Update Service (SEUS)

2) First, run A2Uploader to get some info about the phone’s current settings.

a) Click “Identify.”

b) You’ll be prompted to link up your phone via the USB cable.

c) First, remove the phone’s battery, then put it back in.

d) Then link up via USB while holding the “C” button on the phone.

e) Copy and save all of the information the program spits out. You may need this if you ever have to re-brand the phone.

3) Next, run A2 CDA File Generator.

a) Select the model (C905).

b) Select your region (e.g. America)

c) The program will display the CDA for your selections. The CDA is basically the version of unbranded firmware that you will be installing onto the phone. (If you’re looking to rebrand, you’ll want to use the CDA values you got during Step 2e.)

d) Click “Generate XML file.” You may get a prompt asking you if you’d like to rewrite the existing “customize_upgrade.xml” file. Say yes.

e) The file should be located in the same places as A2 CDA File Generator. Open it up and verify that it looks OK.

4) Now, using A2Uploader, you’re going to transfer this file onto your phone.

a) Start the program and click “File System tool.”

b) You’ll be prompted to link up your phone via the USB cable.

c) First, remove the phone’s battery, then put it back in.

d) Then link up via USB while holding the “C” button on the phone.

e) You should see a file directory appear.

f) Navigate to the /tpa/present/custom folder.

g) Drag and drop the “customize_upgrade.xml” into this folder.

h) The file will be uploaded to the phone. Verify that it’s there.

5) Next, you’ll use SEUS to download and install the new firmware. This will completely erase pretty much everything you have saved on your phone, so make sure you’ve backed things up. Also, make sure your phone has a full charge, because this process could take a while.

a) Start SEUS.

b) Select your phone (C905) from the available options.

c) You’ll be prompted to link up your phone via the USB cable.

d) First, remove the phone’s battery, then put it back in.

e) Then link up via USB while holding the “C” button on the phone.

f) SEUS will look up the firmware specified by the CDA in your “customize_upgrade.xml” file.

g) You may get a message saying that you already have the most recent firmware available for that CDA. If this is the case, you may have to go all the way back to step 3-b and specify a different region (e.g. “Western Europe”).

h) SEUS will download the firmware. Expect the download to be around 65 MB.

i) SEUS will install the downloaded firmware onto your phone. This could take 10 minutes or more.

6) Turn off the phone, unplug everything, close out of all the programs, remove and replace the battery, and cross your fingers.

7) When you restart the phone, it may take a few minutes to process the new firmware. That’s normal.

8) At this point, your phone should be de-branded! Congrats!

9) If at any point you need to re-brand your phone, just follow the same process, but in the “customize_upgrade.xml” file, use the CDA and related information that you got from Step 2.

How To Mix And Match Rugs With Your Space

Rugs can spruce up your living room space or any area in your home. It’s a decorative tool for the floor that complements the paint in your walls, architectural design, and all the decorative pieces found in your home.

In fact, with even just a rug, say for example, a Moroccan or Turksish rug can transform your room from modern to rustic or vice versa. You can go as traditional or as bold as you want to depending on your rug choice that matches the theme of your home. Achieving a specific look for your home would need the right rug for your space.

How to Choose the Right Rug to Match Any Area of Your Home

Switching from classic to minimalistic or any type of design for your home is easy with the right rug set in place such as leather poufs one of the most versatile pieces of décor.

Rug Designs

There are varied designs or styles to choose from when you are shopping for a rug. The traditional look for rugs would usually be the European designs but there are now modern designs that can create a fresh and urbanized look to a simple living room space. Modern rug styles would now include bold geometrical designs, colorful florals, and other jazzy prints to choose from.

When looking for a rug style to fit your home, you should think about the theme or look that you want to create in each area. Remember that your chose rug style should complement the different textures and decors found in that specific area to create a more polished and unified look.

Rug Palettes

When choosing a color for your rug, you have to look at the paint in that area and also all the decors and furnishings so you know that your chosen hue would complement every detail. It’s not just about choosing your favorite color but a palette that sets the tone to achieve a specific look for a space. Like green or pale orange for your kitchen and beige or coral in your living room space.

The color of your rug would also have to mesh very well with all the items in that area. The patterns and colors could be neutral or a hue that seamlessly blends well with walls, ceilings, flooring, and all other decors. Your chose color can either blend in with the rest of your decors or stand out.

Rug Patterns

If you have solid or plain colors in the area, then a rug with colorful patterns can be a focal point in your room. However, if the area has a lot of bold patterns, then a solid rug would create that balance. Rug patterns and colors are very important factors to consider when choosing the right rug.

Rug Sizes

Choose the right rug depending on the area or dimensions of your space. The rug should be placed at the center of your room or living room area with same distances set between the wall and the rug. With rugs, it would be safe to go for large sizes than small ones because the main function of a rug is to define space and create a center of attraction.

Rug Pile Types

There are low, medium, and high piles of rugs. Rugs with a lower pile are more durable and easier to clean compared to high-pile rugs. The general rule would be to use a low-pile rug for areas or spaces that are fully functional or has a lot of foot traffic while a high-pile rug is ideal for rooms or spaces that aren’t as busy or populated as the other spaces.

Lifestyle

If you are living on your own or solo, then you would have an entirely different rug choice as compared to a busy family with kids around. Also, if you have pets then you would have to consider too the color and texture of your rug. White rugs would be an absolute no-no if you have kids and also pets around. However, if you are living alone or a couple then you could have a weave rug or any solid color that would lavishly complement your space without having to worry about stains or getting it damaged.

Your rug is a luxury and a necessity all at the same time. Now, maintaining a rug needs work. You will have to assess whether you can set some hours during the week to clean it or you can let professional cleaning services handle that for you. So, when choosing the right rug, you must look into how much time you can allot for cleaning up or maintaing it. The high-pile rugs are really difficult to clean but are really posh-looking while the low-pile rugs are recommended if you have a lot of foot traffic. The flat-weave rugs are very easy to clean. You can beat them outside to clean or vacuum it.

Procedure to follow while shaving men’s pubic area

It is a trick to master how to remove pubic hair for men. The males are not still well-acquainted regarding the facts and rules about this basic personal hygiene method. It is incredibly essential for both men and women to keep that area clean and dry. Therefore, it is suggested that those less-acknowledged men become aware of some important rules before picking up a razor.

These are the steps that are required to consider by the men before, while and after the shaving process:

  1. Soak in warm water: When the targeted hairs to be removed are soaked in a tub filled with lukewarm water, and then it becomes much convenient for the person to trim those hairs because warm water has the properties to make it softer for cutting. Therefore, less or no pain will be noticed during the removal.
  2. Use soothing agents: Prior to applying the shaving cream, it will be beneficial to apply some sort of creams or gels that work as soothing agents to the skin. It will loosen the skin elasticity that will make it easy for the blade to work inflow.
  3. Trim down there: The third step is to shorten the extended pubic hair with a nice pair of scissors before the actual shaving process. You can find your best suitable trimmers for pubic area at online and offline stores. Take care of the scissors should not be rusted.
  4. Select the blade: The length of the blade highly depends on the length of your pubic hair. If you are removing the hair after so many months, then you might need a longer bladed scissor.
  5. Throw out the old blades: The old and dull pair of blades and scissors should be thrown right away when being noticeable. It will enhance the risk of getting tetanus and other severe diseases.
  6. Apply shaving cream: After all the preparation has been done, then comes the time to apply chemical-free shaving cream on the targeted hair. It might need a fluffy brush to create the foam and spread it all over the area, or your hands might be enough as well.
  7. Apply razor: The shaving cream helps to soften the pubic area, and the razor is then run through the respected area. It is suggested to hold the skin that needs the trim firmly on another hand.
  8. Rinse the area: The hairs have been removed and wash it with cold water to rinse the extra shaving cream from the area.
  9. Dry the pubic area: Dab a dry and clean towel onto the washed and hair-free pubic area. It is advised to use an extremely soft cloth for the dabbing process as the hard fur of the towel might cause redness and itchiness on the delicate skin.
  10. Apply nice moisturizer: After everything is done, it is great to use a thick oil-based moisturizer or cream in the pubic area.

Conclusion:

By following these steps, it will be a lot easier for men to remove the undesired hair from their pubic areas. It is recommended to choose the right kind of trimmer for your hair and skin. Applying an effective soothing agent and moisturizer is also a part of this process as these help the skin feel nourished and moisturized before and after the work is done.

Help! I Don't like Playing with My Kids

If the title above rings true for you, please know that you are not alone. Such sentiments are frequently suppressed by shame-filled parents who begrudgingly endure endless rounds of Go Fish and hours of plot-less puppet shows. These moms and dads fear the judgment and shock they believe such a declaration would reveal about them, so they quietly hide their dirty little secret. So how can we address these repressed, but not uncommon, feelings? Here we will explore some insights and encouragement for parents.

Get off the guilt train. If you don’t enjoy certain activities with your kids, stop kicking yourself for it. Acknowledge that you are an individual with your own personal likes and dislikes. Without apology, you can voice the fact that you do not really like puppet shows but, because you like your children, you will play with them. What a wonderful way to model sacrificial love to your kids. Furthermore, you may just find that such a perspective-providing confession actually frees you up to focus on enjoying your kids even if you don’t enjoy the activity itself.

Stop pretending. The only person you are fooling is yourself. Kids are highly trained at observing and interpreting their parents’ subconscious feelings and subsequent behavior. If you “fake” liking an activity with your children, they are going to know it. Unfortunately, if their assessment skills are a little off, they could falsely interpret your distaste for the activity as distaste for them. You don’t want that – so come clean.

Engage your children in some things YOU like to do. Somewhere along the way, we swallowed a parenting pill that was meant to cure us of having any individuality at all. However, if we become a blank slate for our children, never voicing our own opinions or desires, we actually do them a disservice. Our children need to know that parents are people too. By doing things your children enjoy as well as things that you enjoy, you teach them the important social intricacies of compromise, give and take and negotiation. Their playground and backyard relationships will be much more successful if you do.

Get in touch with your “inner child”. For some of us, this is very easy. Some parents are still just kids wrapped in an adult-size body. However, if you find yourself too refined or “mature” to have a water-balloon fight with your children, try to figure out why. Do you fear losing control? Do you fear losing respect from your children if you stoop to their “level”? Do you wonder what others will think? Give up these fears and seize the moment. You will be making memories and deepening your relationship with your children as you allow yourself to enter into their childhood for a moment. Remember: you are the parent and you can return to that role any time you want.

If you find play time with your kids something you dread instead of anticipate, make some changes. To be sure, parenting is not all about you and your needs, but it isn’t all about your kids either. Balance is the key to any successful relationship.

Its better you have workout sessions with friends at sensory gym centers to make yourself fit than spending time with children.
